The «Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen» brand has been part of Restaurant Brands International (rbi) together with «Burger King», «Tim Hortons» and «Firehouse Subs» since 2017. What began in 1972 with a small restaurant and a big idea from culinary pioneer Al Copeland, has since become a worldwide success story. Popeyes now has 3,400 restaurants and is the second-largest fast food chicken restaurant chain in the world.

Popeyes' culinary heritage is based on diverse Creole and Cajun cuisine that is rich in tradition, spice and flavour - the unmistakable taste of Louisiana. The range includes racy, seasoned and fried chicken creations. The bestseller is the «chicken sandwich», filled with marinated chicken fillet in a buttermilk breadcrumb coating. It is served in a warm, toasted brioche bun with crunchy gherkins and a delicious sauce. In Switzerland, Popeyes only uses local Swiss chicken for all its delicacies.
